What is Problem-based Service Learning?
It is learning that uses and promotes inquiry and questioning on the part of the student to address real world problems. It’s about being hands-on and volunteering your time and skills in the community through a supervised and supportive environment. An opportunity to participate in social change work in exciting community settings.

‘’We learned about ourselves and what we value, a first step to be involved in community…which leads to be more concerned as a person, opening our eyes to new things other than what we are studying right now…’’
- Christine Law, Administration , JMSB, 1st year
‘‘This course has completely changed the way that I think I want to be in the world, it changed my initiatives and the end goal… it has opened me to a whole new way of thinking and approaching problems, and solving problems and working with people…”
